David Watts

Background & History
David Watts is an Enterprise Cloud Solution consultant with White Stratus, a global consultancy focused on helping companies drive value by moving a part, or all of their systems and data into the cloud. Prior to his role at White Stratus, he served as Co-Founder and CMO of Cloud Guru, another cloud consultancy focused on helping companies solve problems associated with moving into the cloud.
Before founding Cloud Guru, he served as the Director of the VXNet.com division of Vinci Consulting Group, which provided solutions for edge routing performance in enterprise WAN environments. David also served at SBR as Director of Systems Development, where he managed IT infrastructure. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from The King’s College, is a white paper author and Cloud strategist.
David Linthicum

Background & History
David Linthicum has, most recently, served as the CTO, CEO, and founder of Blue Mountain Labs, a cloud computing development and advisory firm which was sold to Bick Ventures in 2010. He is an internationally recognized industry expert and thought leader, a sought after speaker, blogger, and columnist, and the author and coauthor of 13 books on computing. He is also the cloud computing blogger for InfoWorld, and creator of the Cloud Computing Podcast, now about to hit 200 episodes. Dave is frequently quoted in industry publications, and has appeared on TV and radio shows as a technology expert.
Prior to Blue Mountain, Dave served on the Board of Directors at BondMart Technologies, where he provided key technology architecture support and validation of key marketing efforts. Previously, he served as CEO of BRIDGEWERX; CTO of Grand Central Communications; CTO at Mercator Software; and CTO at Saga Software. Before entering the C-Suite, Dave served as a Senior Manager for AT&T. As a proven thought leader and innovative thinker, Dave focuses on emerging technologies including Cloud Computing, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Big Data Systems.
He has delivered over $2 billion dollars in value by transitioning companies from traditional to innovative technology systems, moving them to lucrative exits to the benefit of investors, employees, and customers. He holds a degree from George Mason University.
Jeffrey Kaplan

Background & History
Jeffrey Kaplan is a Managing Director at THINKstrategies, Inc., where he advises companies on the strategic implications of business decisions involving new IT services including, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications, cloud computing services and managed services. He has assisted enterprises with sourcing decisions, IT and telecom providers with marketing strategies, and venture capital funds with investment decisions.
Prior to THINKstrategies, Jeffrey was a senior analyst and research director with IDC, Dataquest, and META Group. He has also held positions as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at InterOPS Management Solutions, and Director of Strategic Marketing at International Network Services. Jeffrey is the founder and administrator at www.saas-showplace.com and www.msp-showplace.com.
He holds Bachelor’s degrees from Syracuse University and Rutgers University, and a Master’s of Business Administration from Boston College.
David Lawson

Background & History
David Lawson is the Co-Founder of www.workingphilanthropy.com, a company focused on helping organizations in the social sector as well as the companies that serve them. He brings more than 25 years as a social entrepreneur and investor. David’s first company, The Information Prospector, pioneered asset-based screening for fundraisers. In 1997 he founded Prospect Information Network (P!N) which became the largest wealth screening company before being purchased by Kintera in 2004. David served as a Senior Vice President of Kintera until 2008 when it was purchased by Blackbaud (BLKB).
David has written numerous articles for publications such as The Chronicle of Philanthropy, The Nonprofit Times, CASE Currents and APRA’s Connections. He is a contributing author to Major Donors: Finding Big Gifts in Your Database and Online. David is a member of APRA, AASP, and a recipient of the CASE Steuben Apple and APRA Distinguished Service Awards. David is also a Partner with TrueGivers, LLC, The Atlas of Giving, LLC., and is a Board Member of Call2Action, LLC.

Dave Key is a SaaS thought leader and the founder of Cloud Strategies, where he serves software companies and investment firms “Making SaaS Businesses Work.” He advises in areas including product definition, product development, sales & marketing strategies, services, and finance. Dave blogs on SaaS topics for software vendors at The Tao of SaaS. Dave’s in-depth technical expertise focuses on large systems, supporting millions of users. Dave built and supported very large systems with both on-premise and Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms. His experience enables him to identify, develop, market, and provide services for large worldwide software markets.
Dave was the founding CEO of YouMail, an advanced voicemail and smartphone personal digital assistant app.
Dave was the founding CEO of FieldCentrix, a pioneering leader in providing mobile applications to the field service industry.
As the founding head of software at FileNet (acquired by IBM for $1.6B), Dave’s team created the world’s first production Enterprise Content Management System.
Dave has a degree in computer science from University of California, Riverside, has done graduate work in Computer Science at UC Irvine, and has an MBA from the UC Irvine.
