Online Fundraising Innovator Acquires Social Fundraising Technology Provider

DALLAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Online fundraising innovator, 2DIALOG, a Social Sector Ventures portfolio company, announced today that it has acquired MERCURY COMMUNICATIONS GROUP (MCG), a New York City-based technology provider specializing in social fundraising solutions for nonprofit organizations.

MCG provides technology for peer-to-peer fundraising, which empowers individuals to raise money for causes they care about using their social networks. MCG is also known for its leading development in online event registration and ticketing technology for organizations with special events such as walkathons, galas and golf tournaments.
